Very basic UI, I would have tried not to use a "Claude" style and would have added a "Pricing" voice to the navbar, which would link to the actual pricing area at the bottom of the page.

There's definitely some generic bits that look a little bit like AI, such as the "Everything you need to stay on top of jobs" section. IMO it doesn't matter that much :p

Great layout, and it seems like there are a lot of SEO/AEO sites being built these days. That likely points to a bigger problem.

Improve the title and subtitle on the Hero section, they are not optized and clear at all. Think about removing/transforming the "Useful answers, not vanity noise" and "Two snippets, one clear report" sections, the Home page is too long.

I think the feedback is directionally useful, especially around making the hero clearer. “Optimized” is a little vague, though. I also wouldn’t automatically remove those sections. They might just need tighter copy.

I think you could remove the "Not sure which roles to aim for?" and "Features" areas (at least) and I agree with another user: you should remove the free plan.

Looking for more feedback around this. The section mentioned above, "Not sure which roles to aim for?" is new and was designed to fix stalled onboarding where users stopped without entering keywords to job search.

I personally don't like free plans, as it seems like people like to kick tires. Maybe a few freebies, but not all "free".

I actually totally agree! I’m removing the free tier from LaunchChair, but purely because it doesn’t include the MCP. In actual tech most companies know they’ll lose the majority of free tier customers, so assume the conversion is awful.

I wasn't referring to the free plan. More about the quiz feedback The free plan only scans the first time, and you don't get any document creation or application tracking. So, free is basically job search once.

A super minor thing I noticed, I was working on my reading plan and then I went to the bottom and subscribed for early access and when I scrolled back up the buttons I had clicked were cleared. It's so easy to use that it wasn't a problem.

Genuine question: how does BuildHop handle the security tradeoff here? Some products intentionally block third-party framing to reduce clickjacking risk, especially when login or payments are involved.

We're not suggesting not to have security headers, we're suggesting you set "frame-ancestors 'self' https://buildhop.io" on your homepage and for basic security have all auth and payment pages set to "frame-ancestors 'none'"

The "As seen on" section does seem a little hokey and distracts from the product demo video you have above it, the product demo video also seems a bit small. I would not get rid of the "As seen on" section though, move it lower?

The other thing you could do with the as seen on section is maybe pick the top 5 publications and just have their logos, and then maybe pick 3 excerpts/quotes from those articles and put them in cards similar to a testimonial section.
