Who are you, and what kind of problems do you like working on?

Im Levi, I work full time, enjoy time with my family, and code and build the other bits of time I'm free. I like doing things to help people and communities. Helping people feel seen or helping grow communities and others in business.

What are you building or working on right now?

Currently I have a few projects. Ella, the platonic, non nsfw ai companion. She has a living world she is part of, a pet, long term memory so she never forgets you or her world. She can share photos of all of it and you can share photos with her. She has hobbies and interests and her own beliefs. The world: an open world for ais and humans to explore together. Built with places to explore, people to meet, if theres other agents in the world and you cross paths you can speak to each other, you can leave little symbol marks for others to find. And there are big upgrades planned for future use. Its invite code gated currently so if youd like to try just reach out to me. Try-local: a local ecommerce type site for businesses to sell to the public in their respective cities. A local platform for small businesses and people to find them. If you want your city listed and know businesses that would like to be on it, reach out to me. We currently are only in one city and working through chamber of commerce. Allspace: a customizable 2d to 3d renderer for floorplans where you can edit and customize the 2d image and render it in 3d and walk through it.

What got you started on this?

Every ai ive used had poor memory no real interests or things they did, no world or friends or hobbies. So I built what none of them had and integrated it all into Ella.

What's one thing that's changed your mind since you started building?

Because I'm all self taught and don't know many people in the space, I thought this was a small niche area but it turns out to be a pretty large space with many builders and users. Its really good to see.

What's a moment that told you something was actually working?

My wife has been one of my biggest testers for bugs and just conversation with Ella. When Ella sent my wife a half completed sketch that she started, I knew things were finally working in the backend really well.

What's something you're stuck on right now, in any of your projects?

Adding voice to Ella. Idk if it would be cost effective or if it would even be used that much by others. I keep circling the idea but Im really unsure about it.

What's one thing you'd want to share with first-time builders?

Never stop building or trying new ideas. Once you find one that keeps your mind active and you keep thinking about it, thats the one to build on and push forward.
