Startup Distribution Platform for Founders

BuildHop is a product discovery and growth platform for indie founders, SaaS makers, and early adopters. Founders launch products, get feedback from people exploring their live websites, share product updates, and find new places to promote their work. Visitors discover useful tools and connect with the people building them.

Hop Discovery lets you explore real product websites one at a time, without creating an account. You can move to the next product, open a website directly, vote, or leave feedback. Instead of deciding from a logo and tagline alone, you can try the live experience before sharing what you think.

Create an account and submit your product website, name, tagline, logo, category, and maker details for review. Once approved, your launch gets a public product page and can appear in Hop Discovery, the product directory, and relevant leaderboards. You can manage multiple launches from the same founder account.

Your public launch page stays available after the initial launch window. People can continue discovering your product, leaving feedback, and reading your updates. You can share new releases in the Founders Feed and use earned Hops to bring an eligible launch back to the 7-Day leaderboard or promote it in Hop Discovery.

People can leave feedback while exploring your product in Hop Discovery or through the BuildHop feedback widget on your own website. Approved feedback appears on your public launch page, where you can reply and show what you are implementing or have fixed. You can also ask the founder community for help with a feedback item.

After your launch is approved, copy the widget script from your dashboard onto your product website. It adds a feedback button where visitors can vote, leave feedback, and read approved feedback and founder responses without creating a BuildHop account. The widget connects to your launch, so you can manage feedback from your own visitors and Hop Discovery in the same workspace.

BuildHop calls its community points Hops. Sign in to earn them through eligible activity such as exploring products in Hop Discovery, voting, leaving approved feedback, sharing posts, and replying in the Founders Feed. Your lifetime Hops reflect your contributions on your public profile and the Founders leaderboard, while your available balance can be used for promotion.

Eligible founders can spend Hops to promote a launch in Hop Discovery, relaunch it on the 7-Day leaderboard, or activate a feedback boost that encourages other builders to review it. Hops can also unlock Founder Spotlight. Your dashboard shows the cost and eligibility for each option. Spending Hops reduces your available balance without erasing your lifetime contribution total or Founders leaderboard standing.

The Founders Feed is a public space to share what you are building, ask questions, and learn from other founders. You can attach product updates to a launch so they also appear on its public product page. Other founders can reply with feedback, advice, and ideas as your product evolves.

A public member profile brings together your maker identity, approved launches, Hops, and saved products. Founder Spotlight adds an interview, more links and founder details, and your own feed of posts and updates. Published Spotlights also appear in the founder directory, helping people learn about your work and connect with you.

Yes. The public launch-directory list helps you find places to submit your startup. With an approved launch, the distribution workspace lets you compare directories, track submissions for each product, and reuse your launch descriptions. Free lead discovery can also surface relevant community conversations after you unlock it by adding and verifying the BuildHop badge on your website.

Each launch has a results dashboard showing discovery views, votes, time spent viewing the product, outbound clicks, and click-through rate. Website authority and backlink data from VerifiedDR and website health audits from FreeScan add context. These help you understand whether people are noticing your product, engaging with it, and visiting your website.

Approved launches receive a public product page with a link to their website, product details, feedback, and updates. Public founder profiles and directory listings give people more ways to find your work, while the distribution workspace helps you pursue additional listings. These support discovery over time; search rankings, indexing, and traffic depend on search engines and the quality of your product and content.
