What does everyone think about this feedback?
Another launch platform started by someone with zero marketing experience who’s clearly focused on revenue only, there’s too many of these that have nothing unique about them.

We've done it! 50 states are supported in Camprtron! it only took a month (minus a week off) to add everything. Please check it out and let me know if anything is cereally broken or not working, or any other feedback.
We are adding new Routes to IndieAscent! Open today is the Directory Route so launch sites/directories of any kind have a home to climb to The Summit! What other Routes should we add? https://indieascent.com/tools/directories
Camprtron doesn't fall into any right now. the best seems to be "travel" or "outdoors". but usually i just see travel

cool idea. I'm not a big fan of the background colors/gradients. maybe if the entire thing was a single gradient, maybe something like red at top through orange to black at the bottom of the page. or just a single color
Vampiro LifeReplying is worth 50 points · 100 with Spotlight
Hop ProductIt looks like you may have changed the gradient being referenced in the feedback? You have an opportunity to have fun with this, unlike a traditional SaaS you can style this page like crazy, I should see lore in everything!
Yes, I replied to them and I am now A/B testing two versions of the landing page. Did you get the one with the flying bats or the other one?
I think you could do a little color tweaking when you have extra time but I enjoyed the bats when I was served that page!

What does everyone think about this feedback?
personally would never use this, but your landing page is well designed. not too much to critique, maybe make he footer full width, it feels off being only left side. Kinda same idea for the Section headers, they huddle on the left

Hop Product
It seems like subjective design feedback and less functionality or problem-based feedback. It would be more helpful to understand why that person would not use the application.
The ui feedback is nice, but knowing why someone wouldn't use the product is much more valuable.
I think is a fair feedback. Not every app is for everyone and that's okay. Minor points to check and try to improve means that the landing page is solid but could be more polished.
What does everyone think about this feedback?
i suggest you add more categories (routes). There are so many that fit in "other" and nothing else. Also personally not a fan of paid only launch platforms, but maybe itll help keep things less scammy if people have to pay to submit
IndieAscentReplying is worth 50 points · 100 with Spotlight
Hop ProductAs a note, IndieAscent is a free launch platform. not sure where the reviewer got that it was paid only but if someone points that out I am happy to fix it!

Just a heads up - Anyone thinking about posting on LaunchKiwi - I signed up, their badge verification failed despite their badge clearly being on my page, and they are not responding to support emails. I'm removing their badge now
Looks like vibe coded slop. And why am I seeing Cursor, Claude, and Figma on their homepage, taking exposure away from small launches for HUGE companies?
oh it was trash. bugs everywhere. but it was simple and easy to signup for free, so i went through it, and then failure to verify badge. pffft
What does everyone think about this feedback?
looks great, how does it differ from other coding agents?
LaunchChairReplying is worth 50 points · 100 with Spotlight
Hop ProductIt’s interesting this person thought it was an agent, as said on the website this is meant as an MCP and companion to your agent, it’s a second brain for context, creates a spec, and PRD, then writes prompts for your agent from spec.
maybe they just glanced at the site? I just gave it another once over and I can see how on a quick read it could come off as an agent - some of the taglines mention "your agent" or "the agent".
I know what the product is so it doesn't read that way to me, but yeah. some minor wordsmithing or a section that explicitly says "NOT A FRIGGIN AGENT BUT A TOOL FOR YER FRIGGIN AGENT" perhaps? 😂.

Hop ProductWe now support 40 states in the US! The goal was to have all 50 this month, but alas, camping and hiking with the family for a week took precedence! See if your state is officially supported at: https://camprtron.com/camping
I spent all this week updating and improving my ETL process, fixing bugs in our data, and other various things. Now back to adding those last 10 states!
I'm noticing a lack of a "Murder Score" for campsites, I'd love to know my likelihood of being murdered at a new campsite. Haha kidding
haha. I'll put it on the feature request board. does mauled by bear count as murder or is that it's owned category?
