First things first: thanks! =D I’d love to hear people’s thoughts on guided tours. I worked at a company where they were the core business for five years, but I often found them annoying and blocking. One idea I’ve been considering is using tabs to guide users through the main features: Organize, Version, Feedback, and Iterate, the core loop. Maybe that’s what he was referring to.
Damn dude, way to iterate on your homepage based on feedback! The new homepage looks awesome and the product demos are super cool! Consider having an animated guide that points out what to do in the hero demo?

This is awesome! And the new homepage looks great! I just looked again based off this feedback and I agree that a guide within the hero section demo app might be awesome, but keep it in the demo area and not site wide.
I'll play with it a bit and think about a solution for that! Also I feel like the sample content there is not good enough too.

After playing with it a little more it’s confusing that the demo app for the demo has your branding and it’s far too interactive. The demo app should obviously be fake, it almost seems like that’s what your product is.
