I honestly don't want to be rude, but the idea sucks, the execution sucks, the field u r entering is extremely hard, in fact one of the hardest to crack since u need huge adoption, and with all social media around rn u ask ppl to join a new one? i'm sorry but this is just bad in every way

Appreciate you telling me how much my idea sucks, but at least I'm trying to build something that will eliminate the overreach of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc... or whoever the f'k Zu'ck decides to buy next. They have 22 years of dominance, and if Trump or his team would have said "We can't compete" that is all we'd have right now. They said "Screw that we'll build Truth Social" Problem found, and I'm trying to solve it. How about you, care to share your build?

I like the idea of a site trying to bring back facebook and myspace vibes, but i fear its going to attract the wrong visitors? also seems a bit too political for my liking, "your thoughts on the first amendment" and "what is your favourite gun you own" in group posts? and the site footer about first amendment. Not to mention sign in with google only to use the site.

The idea of the Google sign in is that pretty much most people have a gmail, and if you don't - there is no way I'm letting you on the platform. We need to verify two things 1. You are the real person that owns this account and not a bot, 2. You can actually click the tokenized link in the first email. Plus if we need to email you site updates, etc... we have a real email you can check. Yes, it seems like we bowed to the powers of Google, but it's there to protect all users. Real people.

gives me vibes on myspace - but needs more visuals here. free speech is a strong claim , I appreciate you are working on free speech but we would like to see you displaying how you are gonna do the moderation

The only things I am not allowing free speech on is "Terroism" "Self Harm" and maybe outright pr0n. I will think about it, as I want people to post stuff obviously and use the site more freely than Facebooklies and Redditban - but at the same time, people should need to view stuff like that - so I might work that into the code to hide it or blur it with the clearly marked issue with the post.

Unbelievably low effort slop here, it almost looks like slop from an old model. No product shots or examples, copy reads weird, completely unstyled components, no visual design or UX considerations at all. Who’s going to use this? This product needs heavy consideration, copy work, and a direction outside of a weird “free speech” claim.

Thanks for the feedback and I totally disagree with your commentary. This is v1 and if you like living in a society with heavy moderation and no free speech, go ahead. I for one do not, so I decided to push something out. At least I'm not sitting around complaining about the problem.

Not at all. This is basically Facebook and MySpace before they decided to ban people and censor. Free Speech. America FTW! Tired of the shadow banning, the non-free speech. This is your place before the great purge of 2020!
