Trayage 1.1 is live, along with a refreshed website. Your feedback here showed me the site needed to explain the value better. It now shows the app in action and compares Trayage with macOS Storage and other utilities. The app adds local duplicate-content checks, custom filters, and a redesigned overview. You still choose what moves to Trash. Take a look. Is it clearer what Trayage could help you with? https://trayage.app

Love the purple, thought this was a completely different site for a second then thought it was a clone of a site I already hopped. Then realized you pushed new design, great improvement! My only feedback is that maybe the "Before you try Trayage" section should be reworked, feels a bit heavy. And maybe you need a 3 card section above pricing with product shots, because in my experience NOBODY is watching videos on landing pages anymore.

The site looks good so I won't downvote, but... It's a hefty price for such a simple tool. I know that it probably took you quite a while to do it, but I doubt you'll find many buyers for that price.

agreed with the rest of feedbacks, it's a useful tool but probably would not pay for it. Not sure about the competition, but maybe you'd differ yourself over with your pricing - might not be a bad idea to put competitor landscape btw

Great Feedback

Thanks, that’s helpful. There’s a pattern in the feedback: people see some usefulness, but the value at $30 isn’t clear. We’ve added a short walkthrough to show the actual workflow. A fair comparison with other tools would help too, including where free options are enough. Have you tried Trayage (we have a 7-day free trial), or is this based on the landing page?

honestly torn between up and downvote. I don't see this being as useful as the site claims. I personally would not want something deleting files ti thinks are duplicates, and if the app makes me review the deletions, what's the point in using it in the first place? Especially not for $30. maybe $5

Great Feedback

That’s fair, and it helps me see what I haven’t explained well. Trayage helps find files worth checking, but you still decide what goes. Nothing moves to Trash without confirmation. The 1.1 beta adds content checks for likely duplicates and remembers files you’ve chosen to ignore. I hear you on price too. Have you tried it, or is this based on the site? Knowing that would help me separate the explanation from the experience.

Aren't those already available through the settings storage? also the pricing feels expensive but i dunno about competitors

Great Feedback

Fair question! macOS Storage may be enough for occasional cleanup. Trayage brings installers, possible duplicate downloads, and old or large files into one review. v1.1, currently in beta, adds content checks for likely duplicates, custom age/size thresholds, and remembered ignores. It’s $29.99 once, with v1.1 included. I appreciate the pricing feedback. Did you try the app, or was that your impression from the website?
