probably needs a live demo without having to log in. not sure why i would pay for this over other podcast recommendation sites.

Cool.. I think you could do a better example of showing how it works. Ie, the ask in plain language actually shows one. And/or a video? Maybe you could feature the article how podmae ranks on the homepage to give more clarity on the why - also consider maybe an MCP people could use as a monetisation opportunity for yourself. if i was to use it id rather not have to keep coming back to the site when i could ask claude etc.

Is this an actual problem or a personal type of issue where you couldn't find a podcast. I don't see any value or real solution to a real problem.

I like that it describes what it does in h1. But what I don't like is that it uses the generic AI slop palette and it immediately asks to create an account.

how is this better than google or a local agent searching for me?

Check out this blog post! It goes into a bit more detail on that: https://podmae.com/blog/how-podmae-ranks-podcasts Podmae searches 3 different podcast directories in parallel to find you the BEST matches. Not only does it find shows but it uses AI to find specific episodes within shows whose title may not apply to the specific semantic search function of a traditional search in google or with an agent.

I think I can use ChatGPT or just Claude to avoid using Podmae. Think about it. You should rethink about the problem Podmae solves.

Sure! You could just use chatgpt or claude. But Podmae's value proposition is more than just "find the podcast" maybe I should update the landing page to be more compelling about how Podmae actually works. Here's a blog about the functionality: https://podmae.com/blog/how-podmae-ranks-podcasts

Seems like a product for literally nobody! What problem is this solving? Are there really that many people struggling to find podcasts? What’s wrong with platform level search where pods are consumed?

Great Feedback

Appreciate the feedback! I created a product based on a problem that I often faced and something I see often on social media is people asking for podcast recommendation. Podmae searches 3 podcast directories in parallel.. Apple, Spotify, and Podcast Index. The search results return the top rated for your search. Not only does it search for shows, it also has the toggle functionality to search for episodes within a show whose title doesn't apply to the semantic search query.

The search functionality feels very unique and cool 😊

Thank you!! We recently added a function where you can actually search episodes AND podcast shows so the more we build, the more granular it will become.
